It’s Homecoming Week! 🎉 What do you love most about being part of the Lakeside community? How do you show off your school spirit? What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event? i like that the teacher and counselours actually want to help and get you to graduate, and my favorite tradition of homecoming is definitely spirirt week dressing up and seeing people costumes are funny

Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on actvities. Select one and tell why.    THe leraning method i enjoy the most is definitely worksheets as i can actually see the information and hold it in my hands and its easier to do it that way in my opionion

Reflect on a specific gender expectation imposed by your culture that has been the most challenging to navigate. A specifif gender role thats been imposed by my culture is how men have to provide everythign for the hpuse and to some extent i agree with this but at the same time i dont want people to rely on me too much

You are working on your storymap which is reflection on your past. Thinking about your future, as you graduate high school, what role does the Atlanta metro area play in your life? I think i would like to stay here since i already know the area and the people in it, not to mention whats around and the opportunies i have here

You’ve been in Multicultural Literature for about 4.5 weeks. How has the class been going for you so far? This class has been going okay for me, i miss alot of days which means i miss alot of assignments too but im trying now to make up what i missed so i can end the semester with a passing grade

Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?  one time i wore jeans with real big leg openings so it looked like i was wearing a denim dress, others didnt like them or thought they looked silly but i didnt mind because i liked them

Prompt: Write about something that you wish you had more of.  I wish i had more time, but even if i had more time i probably woudnt use it or take advantage of it, i procrastonate alot and its not good so deadlines help me a little with getting work done

Prompt: Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. The most burning question to me is when does one find their purpose, this is the most important to me because i feel like i still havent found my ourpose so i think about this alot

Prompt: Describe a time when you felt completely lost.  I fetl completely lost when going to the masquerade for thr first time, the venue is underground and has multiple entrances and i was lost at first

 Write about a dream that felt real I once dreamed about driving to school and picking up some friends to give them a ride and on the way to school we crashed and then i woke up

 Prompt : write about something you've always been curious about  Something i've always been curious about has to be how buildings can look small from the outside and be way bigger on the inside, maybe they build underground but i've always wanted to understand how that works. Today in class we finished our poster and i copied the answers from my groupmates on the worksheet that we all have to turn in for an individual grade

Prompt: What would you do: tell your friend to confess, tell their partner yourself, or stay quiet? Explain your choice, using ideas about loyalty and consequences from Fences. How might your decision affect everyone involved? If i was in this situation I would tell my friend to confess and if they dont, I would tell their partner because if something doesnt happen about that soon then it'll just cause more underlying problems in the relationship

 Prompt : Write about a conversation that changed you A conversation that changed me was talking to my older sister and being able to understand her and my mom more and i was able to see them in a different light and realize why they do some things that they do
