 Today in class we worked on 10 discussion questions for the story, The Rock pile. There was 9 questions and one graph that we had to do, originally we were going to present today in class but that has now been moved to friday

 We did the same as monday

 Today in class we had to read the Rockpile and work on our part in a group assignment. I felt okay and I liked my group

 Today in class we worked on composing an argumentative paragraph, first we had to make a thesis statement from the Newsela article we read, and then after we had to write an argument paragraph with 2 pieces of evidence.

 Today all classes were shorter for the pep rally in the afternoon, in class we did a kahoot on current events and i got second place which earned me a coupon for a minor assignment 

 Today in class, we started with an opening lesson where we read a newsela article as a class and then did the first question of the worksheet together, after, we had to find 2 direct quotes and then explain how the selected quote supported the claim. 

     For the blog post on October 21st, 2024 we were told instead to write about what we did over the week-long break. Over the break, I went on a date to a Cuco concert at the Eastern in Atlanta, and had a really good time. The venue doors opened at 7 and the show started at 8, their was no openers and the only artist playing that night was Cuco himself. The concert was pretty fun, I've been wanting to see Cuco live for a long time, I always miss his shows when he's in town, I'm glad I didnt this time.  This marks my twelvth concert for the year, some of my favorite concerts I've been to are Travis Scott at the Masquerade, Charli XCX at State Farm Arena and Lil Uzi Vert at the Coca Cola Roxy.

 Today in class we discussed as a class what's cool and what's not cool, after we read a poem and analyzed it, we then worked on the rest of the worksheet where we had to make a claim and get 3 points of evidence to support our claim. Today I feel great ! Im very excited for fall break

 Today was a block day and the class worked on an online worksheet where we had to find claims from and article, identify the type of claim it was and then we had to make an opposing claim, there was 6 of these to do today. That was all we did today in class
